Here at Fast Pace Health, we understand that illness and injuries don’t obey the rules. There is simply no way to plan for them — and they always seem to happen at the worst times. But we have good news when you have a condition that requires urgent medical attention. Our urgent care clinics are here to help you and your family when the need for urgent care arises.
Our team of highly qualified healthcare providers offers fast, compassionate, and cost-effective care for your everyday illnesses or injuries. Our Indianola, MS walk-in urgent care clinic is conveniently located on Hwy 82.
At Fast Pace Health, our highly-skilled team of healthcare professionals works to make our urgent care facilities accessible for everyone, whether young or old, with or without medical insurance.
With our ability to service non-life-threatening needs closer to home, we’ve eliminated the need to travel to a hospital or emergency room far away. That makes urgent care clinics a great option when medical care can’t wait.
For example, urgent care clinics can help lift the burden from the shoulders of busy emergency room departments. These ERs have millions of patients that walk through their doors every year. Most are being seen for minor injuries or illnesses and never get admitted. Urgent care centers free up more time for emergency departments to focus on critical patients while those with non-life-threatening symptoms can still get the immediate care they deserve.
Urgent care also provides an alternative to primary care appointments, which can be a pain to get scheduled. Waiting for far-off primary care appointments can make timely access to medical care nearly impossible. With urgent care centers, you can get primary care services with minimal wait times.
The staff at Fast Pace Health consists of professionals who are experts in their respective areas of medicine. They’re passionate about what they bring to underserved communities.
Our staff and urgent care locations are equipped to handle many common illnesses and injuries. Let’s take a closer look at our benefits and urgent care services here in Indianola.
Our clinic is conveniently located on Highway 82 in Indianola. There is no need to wait inside busy emergency rooms to get care — most of our patients are seen within 15 minutes, often less. All you need to do is stop by for fast, quality care. We’ll help however we can.
We strive to make our services cost-effective for all, not just for those of a specific economic standing or those who have health insurance coverage. At Fast Pace Health, we offer self-pay options for those without insurance and accept most private insurance plans.
Do you live in a rural area, far away from hospitals or your primary care office? Urgent care is very important for individuals who live in rural areas.
Here at Fast Pace Health, we seek to provide excellent urgent care, education, and accessibility for those who may be far from hospitals.
In addition to our walk-in services, our Indianola urgent care center is now offering virtual care from the comfort of your home through our telehealth service. This goes for both new and existing patients.
Telehealth is a relatively new area within healthcare. In short, telehealth allows people to get medical help without needing to go to a clinic in person. Using your smartphone, computer, or tablet, you can have a video chat with one of our healthcare providers — all from the comfort of the couch.
A telemedicine visit works great for those conditions that don’t need to be treated at an office — e.g. infections, viruses, allergies, rashes, and other common ailments. Don’t worry, you’ll still receive the same quality care as you would at one of our walk-in clinics.
Our telehealth hours are flexible. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT, and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. CT. There is no need for an appointment.
We’re equipped to handle many different types of minor injuries, accidents, and illnesses at our Indianola location. Let’s take a look at some of the most common medical conditions that could bring you through our front doors at our urgent care clinic.
Allergy symptoms affect millions of people every year. In fact, seasonal allergy symptoms are one of the biggest reasons for primary care visits. These symptoms include itchy, watery eyes, runny nose, coughing, and sneezing.
Thankfully, we can help treat symptoms of seasonal allergies and mild allergic reactions. However, while our urgent care clinics are set up to handle most cases of mild allergic reactions, serious allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) require immediate emergency medical attention.
In addition to allergy symptoms, we also treat cold and flu symptoms at Fast Pace Health. This includes coughing, headaches, runny nose, fever, body aches, and more.
When it comes to broken bones, minor sprains, or minor cuts, urgent care clinics make a great alternative to the emergency room. It’s true that ERs used to be the place to go for minor accidents and injuries, but now urgent care is here to lift the burden.
From broken bones and minor burns to scrapes, sprains, and stitches, we have you covered at Fast Pace Health. However, severe cuts with uncontrolled bleeding, compound fractures, and other major traumas still require immediate emergency medical attention.
As many have experienced, stomach viruses can cause uncomfortable gastrointestinal issues. This includes symptoms like nausea and vomiting. But don’t worry, we are here to help when the symptoms of nausea and vomiting have you down in the dumps.
If these symptoms have lasted more than 24 hours or you cannot hold down food or liquid, it’s time to visit us. In many cases, treatments for nausea and vomiting include IV fluids and a prescription for anti-nausea medication.
In cases of minor injury and illness, urgent care offers a better option than crowded emergency rooms. However, there are also some potentially life-threatening medical emergencies that require immediate treatment from an emergency room, including:
